Hervey Bay Library & Admin Centre Inc Disaster Resilience Centre

The Fraser Coast Regional Council, in partnership with the Australian Government, is building a better lifestyle for Hervey Bay and creating a revitalised world-class city centre and civic hub.

The backbone of the city centre revitalisation will be a new regional library building and Council administration centre, located on the corner of Main Street and Torquay Road in Pialba.

It will be a community hub where people can come together to learn, to socialise and to benefit from centralised Council services. It will also include a Disaster Resilience Centre, where Council and government agencies can work together during disasters.

The design concepts have been made available to the community of Hervey Bay for viewing. To view the full report, click on the "Building Concept" button below. You can find more information in a number of fact sheets, and see the latest media release below too.
