Phase two of the Hervey Bay Esplanade Community Engagement process commenced in May. Deliberative democracy or deliberative engagement is all about placing people (citizens, residents, affected individuals) closer to the affairs of government. A diverse group of 36 people from the Fraser Coast region met regularly between April and June to discuss and plan the future 20 year vision for the Hervey Bay Esplanade, with input from the wider community along the way. The videos are an insight into their experiences.

Engagement Hub is one online engagement tool that Council uses to engage with the community and stakeholders on various projects.

If you would like to use Council’s Engagement Hub but not register specifically for our engagement register, please click on to create an account. When prompted, create a username and password of your choice and provide a valid email address.
