The Fraser Coast Regional Council, in partnership with the Australian Government, is building a better lifestyle for Hervey Bay and creating a revitalised world-class city centre and community hub.

The backbone of the city centre revitalisation will be a new regional library building and Council customer service centre, located on the corner of Main Street and Torquay Road in Pialba.

It will be a community hub where people can come together to learn, to socialise and to benefit from centralised Council services. It will also include a Disaster Resilience Centre, where Council and government agencies can work together during disasters.
