A comprehensive community engagement process was undertaken from August – October 2023 to assist in master planning the community space land within Glenwood. Council is now seeking comment on the Draft Master Plan.
Following the completion of the engagement process a full engagement report will be provided to Council and will be made public at this time.
A summary of the findings in the meantime is outlined below.

In relation to the community space land the most common comments related to:
The top 3 priorities were enough public toilets and they are maintained; community space is maintained and well looked after and enough play and recreational areas for young people.
In relation to the Community Hall the most common comments related to:-
The top 3 priorities were enough public toilets and they are maintained; the community hall is maintained and well looked after; and there is enough space/rooms in the hall for community use.
The overall findings show that the majority of respondents feel that there are opportunities to further develop the community space land, and that the hall could be used for many other purposes if it was renovated, upgraded or made more widely available.
